Matt Perry

Assistant Winemaker

Matt Perry hails from Minneapolis where he studied chemistry at the University of Minnesota. While there, he dabbled in "home" fermentation -- primarily due to a meager beer budget -- but became interested in winemaking soon after taking an introductory wine course. After graduation he packed up and moved to Napa Valley where he worked his first three harvests.Then, after brief stints in Australia, Matt desired to find the perfect Pinot noir and found himself in the Willamette Valley. 

When he isn’t busy in the winery, Matt enjoys skiing, camping, gardening and cooking.
