Michael moved to Oregon from Minnesota in January 2017 and joined Adelsheim shortly after. His interest in wine started in 2011 while travelling through Europe, and his passion for both world travel and wine has only deepened since then. In 2015, he received the Level 3 Advanced Certification from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. He is particularly fascinated by the scientific aspects of viticulture and enology, and continues to read, taste, and learn. 

In his time away from work, Michael likes exploring nature, travelling the globe, and enjoying good food and drink wherever he goes.
