“Perhaps I’m partial, but I just love this. The wine lifts out of the glass with notes of ground black pepper quickly chased by purple violets, grilled bread, and dark cocoa. It is striking and evocative on the palate, tiptoeing between grace and power but careful not to lean too far in either direction. This wine is supremely age worthy. I look forward to watching it live its long life”
